Life is a long, wondrous and continuous introduction to yourself.

The act of creation — it leads me to unknown places. Only to make me realize that all was known, always. And yet, I live every day with the hope that I’ll explore, create and grow into someone new. Because what’s life if not a long, wondrous and continuous introduction to yourself.

In this journey, music lives by my side. I find melody in my writing, and a lot of writing in my melodies. Sometimes, I hear songs in the bubbles of boiling tamarind water. Or in the stroke of red paint over the canvas. Or in the giggles of a child after a good joke. Tunes find their way even into my boredom, curiosity and the thoughts in between. And a rhythm taps into my sorrow, so it can take the leap to laughter.

Such is music. Such is life — yours and mine.

In that nomadic moment

..i asked her..

"mumma , didnt it ever happen to you that you were suddenly unsure,skeptical about every breath you take , every day you make..
Didnt the whys and whats of the enigmatic existence ever make you wonder .. wonder enough to question yourself?
Precisely, were not you ever lost...i mean REALLY LOST"

What i expected was a long explanatory answer, some stories...

Mumma said

"No kanna..All i ever did was to be on myself and never look at anybody as a need"

And i know i did not have to hear more...she DID it!!

Today aint the mother's day or my mom's birthday...
(This just flowed out of a 2 minute conversation with her after a long time!)

Some yearsback i wanted to write a small article on her and get it published in the reader's digest.....
I know, given a chance, i would do it even today!

There are some people whom you take to your life because of your association in terms of time and the natural relation you were born with... But i think she is in my life for reasons and influence far beyond that....

I cannot even put her as a friend,mentor and blah blah....

ROYALITY is what she stands for, if i have my definitions right! :)
