disappointed , aggravated and sorry...

Yesterday , on my way back from office , a collegue sitting behind has a chat with someone on the phone!

'Collegue:  DEKHTE HAI MANMOHAN LAL KYA KARTA HAI..'
(trans: lets see what manmohan lal does!)
after a gap of two seconds..

Collegue : Isnt that LAL..?? SINGH??? Isnt some politician called MANMOHAN LAL??? .he he he..i always thought there was'

A series of laughter follows and the person keeps giggling at the fact that she thinks there is somebody called some LAL!!

phew!

The educated laugh off the ignorance.. the barest they could have known was the names of the prime minister/president!!

And here we have the masses giving up their lives to save the future of those who donot even own the nation in the real sense!

Sad and demeaning!
