Life is a long, wondrous and continuous introduction to yourself.

The act of creation — it leads me to unknown places. Only to make me realize that all was known, always. And yet, I live every day with the hope that I’ll explore, create and grow into someone new. Because what’s life if not a long, wondrous and continuous introduction to yourself.

In this journey, music lives by my side. I find melody in my writing, and a lot of writing in my melodies. Sometimes, I hear songs in the bubbles of boiling tamarind water. Or in the stroke of red paint over the canvas. Or in the giggles of a child after a good joke. Tunes find their way even into my boredom, curiosity and the thoughts in between. And a rhythm taps into my sorrow, so it can take the leap to laughter.

Such is music. Such is life — yours and mine.

winning a beauty contest?????

..he he.

have always kinda been apprehensive about such contests...dey somehow dont make sense to me..

but then it was day of a critic on the axe..

'Traditional day' in office..hated the idea from the beginning..d idea of people walking in and looking at you and marking...eeee yaaa....

wanted to come in shorts to be at the extreme of such an event...

i like the idea of having a change but then attiring should be for feel-good and not for a competition..I THOUGHT

anycase i have been over-working this week...went home at times at 2 in d morning , 11 all the other days and still frustoo about the work not over!

nyway..

today morning : 7:00 am .. my roomie shakes me in nervousness...'pls pls get ur stuff arranged..' .. i hop to 5 flats in my building and beg for some essentials to people i dont even know the names of!!

he he!

i reluctantly get ready..

nd den the general stuff happens and den i m informed in d afternoon about d selection...

i refuse to go to this contest.... den again somebody pushes me into it..

nd lo i end up winning!

life is all about irony!

i dont know if this matters or not but yeah..it feels good..

TILL THESE PEOPLE MAKE ME GO BROKE WITH TREAT DEMANDS!!

my winning lines : i had to rant about culture and attire! so here i go..(spoken language changes may be i did!)
"For me , culture is not marked by a dress,
Culture is not marked by a religion
And it is not marked by a festival.

For people, culture is a mass trend but i believe its the celebration of richness in thoughts and deeds and enrichment of the lives of those around and a commemoration of who we are!

An attire is only adorning and giving external outlook to the grace and poise of oneself.A saree though like any other outfit , i believe, brings the elegance we carry with a high degree of aesthetics.

But honestly wearing this saree was to make somebody happy today (what for me, portrays culture!) and if i am standing on the dias here , its again to make someone happy!
